Here at Burnrite Stoves we strive to provide our customers with the best outdoor wood furnaces available. Wood is an ideal source of energy because it is renewable and inexpensive (often it is free!). Propane, natural gas, fuel oil and electricity are expensive and they use up non-renewable fossil fuels. Burnrite Stoves' outdoor wood burning stoves take the centuries old method of burning wood for heat and adds modern technology. With conventional wood stoves you have the constant threat of chimney fires, carbon monoxide build up and oxygen depletion which affects indoor air quality. You also have to deal with the smoke, ashes, odors and soot build upon walls and ceilings inside your building. Burnrite outdoor wood stoves eliminate the dangers and mess associated with conventional wood furnaces by moving it outside.

Energy Savings when you need it

At Burnrite we also provide our customers with a heat source that is easily obtained in their local markets (or even backyard) as opposed to energy sources traded internationally. This helps our customers to keep a consistent yearly heating budget. Burnrite outdoor wood stoves burn wood which is also one of the most renewable heating fuel sources. Burning properly harvested wood in your Burnrite Outdoor Wood Furnace can be a carbon neutral way to heat your home and water, as the only carbon that burning wood puts into the environment is the same carbon that that tree took out of the air over the course of its life.

Installation and How it Works

The Burnrite outdoor wood stove is installed outside your home or business, typically from 30-200ft (it is possible to go as far as 500ft!). Our unit is compatible with any existing heating system. The furnace firebox is surrounded by a water jacket which is heated and then circulated throughout the home or building via insulated underground tubing. The heat is transferred to the structure's forced air furnace, boiler, radiant or floor heating system by using Water-to-Water or Water-to-Air heat exchangers. This system allows normal thermostatic control for safe, even and comfortable heat. Burnrite outdoor wood furnaces allow you to heat multiple buildings and domestic water, thereby virtually eliminating your heating bills.

Why should you choose a Burnrite Stoves outdoor wood furnace?

The answer is simple. Burnrite Outdoor Wood Stoves and Furnaces save you time, money and they eliminate the risks associated with conventional wood burning furnaces.

  • Save time-- By burning larger pieces of wood, an outdoor wood stove will reduce the amount of time you spend splitting wood. Burning larger pieces of wood also allows for a longer burn time between feeding the furnace. The Burnrite Outdoor Wood Stove's large firebox was designed to make loading of wood and the removal of ash quick and as painless as possible.
  • Save money-- With the ability to heat 100% of your building and hot water, Burnrite Outdoor Wood Furnaces virtually eliminate your heating bills. In fact, a Burnrite outdoor wood stove can often pay for itself within two years of use. Over a ten year period residential and commercial installations may save from $10,000 to $50,000 or more in heating costs! Burnrite Stoves outdoor wood furnaces generally achieve this by using anywhere from 25% to 50% less wood than conventional wood furnaces or other brands of outdoor wood burning stoves.
  • Eliminating the risks-- Burnrite Outdoor Wood Stoves burn wood, a renewable resource, and therefore there is no need for a large outdoor compressed gas tank or a gas delivery system that can malfunction and rarely maybe even explode. By placing the furnace outside of the structure you eliminate the risks of carbon monoxide build up, chimney fires and oxygen depletion.

Burnrite Stoves, located in central Michigan, is a manufacturer of quality outdoor wood burning furnaces committed to creating safer and more efficient heating products.
