Warranty Information
Burnrite warranties all wood stove models against defective materials and workmanship for a prorated period (specified below) to the original purchaser only.
Models 152 & 228
Burnrite wood stove models 152 & 228 are warrantied against defective materials and workmanship for a prorated period of 20 years to the original purchaser only. Prorated amounts are based on retail prices that are current at the time of the warranty claim.
The first five years are rated at a 100% Warranty. The rate decreases over the next 15 years to a minimum of 10%, as outlined in the full warranty that you will receive when you purchase a Burnrite Furnace, as well as your warranty registration.
Model XB-4100
The Burnrite wood stove model XB-4100 is warrantied against defective materials and workmanship for a prorated period of 10 years to the original purchaser only. Prorated amounts are based on retail prices that are current at the time of the warranty claim.
All Wood Stove Models
All electrical components carry the manufacturer’s one year warranty. Burnrite will service the replacements of covered electrical components.
Burnrite does not warrant against freezing, overheating, alterations to the stove, pressurization, negligence or the use of any fuel type other than cord wood. All transportation and installation costs are the responsibility of the owner and are not covered under warranty. All Burnrite stoves are required to have corrosion inhibitor added to the water to ensure a pH level between 7.5 and 9.0. It is the responsibility of the owner to follow proper maintenance procedures as outlined in the owner’s manual.
